With the awesome new FPV range, come some extremely important and exciting new changes. The All New Range of Ford Performance Vehicles - Released June 2008. F6 Powered by the high performance 4.0 litre turbo-charged DOHC 24 valve in-line six, the F6 produces maximum power of 310kW at 5500 rpm and maximum torque of 565Nm across the range from 1950 to 5200 rpm. A new intake system has improved airflow from the air intake to the engine head inlet, which substantially reduces pressure drop without a loss of boost capability. the engine features re-designed inlet and exhaust systems, a strengthened piston and conrod assembly and a totally re-calibrated engine to maximise response and driveability. The F6 boasts fuel consumption figures of 12.3L/100km in manual transmission and 12.1L/100km in automatic guise. Customers have the option of the performance TR6060 six-speed manual transmission or the ZF six-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift at no extra cost. The exterior of the car can be distinguished by its dark headlight accents and titanium mesh grille. The new graphite headlight accents are matched to the 19 inch machine faced alloy wheels with Graphite accents, The F6 is available in 11 exterior colours – Winter White, Vixen, Silhouette, Lightning Strike, Sensation, Steel, Ego, Breeze, Nitro, Octane and Dash. Whilst the interior s packed with features to ensure a premium driving experience, including a sports leather steering wheel with cruise control and audio mounted switches, dual zone temperature control air conditioning, front and rear power windows and alloy pedal covers. Safety features that are exclusive to the F6 include: Beltminder technology for the driver, and a remote alarm and FPV’s ID Datadot identification. GT E Powered by the upgraded 5.4 litre Boss V8 engine, the GT E produces a massive 315kW of power at 6500 rpm and 551Nm of torque at 4750 rpm. the ZF six-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift as standard and boasts a fuel economy figure of 14L/100km. The exterior of the GT E is more subtle, with striking chrome accents and a refined lip spoiler replacing the bright colours, hood and side striping and large rear wings found on the other models." The upper radiator and lower bumper grille mesh are finished in black chrome, while the front driving lamps are highlighted with a high chrome bezel and complemented by full body coloured bumpers. The GT E is available in a subtle exterior colour palette of nine colours - Winter White, Silhouette, Lightning Strike, Velvet*, Sensation, Steel, Ego, Seduce and Silk. The interior features luxury seats in shadow leather with the GT E logo embossed on the headrests. Regency red leather seats are available as a no cost option. A sports leather steering wheel with cruise control and audio mounted switches, dual zone temperature control air conditioning, front and rear power windows and memory adjustable pedals with alloy pedal controls. The safety features exclusive to this model is reverse parking camera and reverse sensing camera. GT-P and GT The GT-P and GT are powered by high performance 5.4 litre quad-cam 32 valve V8 engines that produce a maximum power output of 315kW at 6500 rpm and maximum 551Nm of torque at 4750 rpm and fuel economy figures of 14L/100km. Owners will have the option of the performance TR6060 six-speed manual transmission, or the ZF six-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift at no extra cost. The gearing of the manual GT has been adjusted, and a shorter final drive ratio reduces the flat spots between gear changes and delivers a smoother drive. The automatic transmission has a cylinder cut feature during wide open throttle gear changes, which shortens the torque off, torque-back-on time between gear changes, enhancing the wide open throttle performance feel. The bold exterior styling of the new GT-P and GT is highlighted by the unique front grille treatment, large rear wing, side striping and V8 bonnet bulge accented with a newly designed hood decal. The GT and GT-P are available in 11 exterior colours - Winter White, Vixen, Silhouette, Lightning Strike, Sensation, Ego, Seduce, Breeze, Nitro, Octane and Dash. The headlight accents are available in a Mid and Dark Agent colour based on the choice of exterior colour. Visually, the GT-P is distinguished by the Satin Chrome treatment on the upper radiator and lower bumper grille mesh and its 19-inch alloy wheels with unique Dark Argent accents. Inside the cabin the GT-P receives a six-way power driver’s seat and FPV performance sports seats in shadow cloth with silver stitching and GT-P embroidered headrests. Shadow leather seats are a no cost option. There are several safety features that are fitted across the entire new FPV range.
